There will be two dance camps available this summer. There will be two sections for each camp, for 3-5 year olds and 6-10 year olds.
- Fairy Tale (Beatrix Potter) July 16th through 20th, 9am to 1pm.
- Alice in Wonderland August 6th – 10th, 9am to 1pm.
The daily class schedule for the camps will be:
- Ballet Class
- Alternative Dance Class (jazz, tap, and/or folk)
- Choreography – students help create and structure their own dance
- Crafts — students make their own headpieces, decorate costumes, etc.
- Rehearsal of group dance for in-studio performance on the last day of class
- Refreshment breaks with snacks and drinks
- Crafts

- Refreshment breaks with snacks and drinks.
Sign up now at the front desk or via email. A minimum of 8 students is necessary for each camp. The studio reserves the right to cancel the class if there are insufficient enrollees.
Northwest Conservatory of Dance is pleased to announce that Jimmy Hao, international dancer and choreographer from Beijing Ballet, will teach our 2012 Summer Intensive. The ten-day Summer Intensive will run from July 23 through August 3, 10am to 4pm. Each day, classes will include
- ballet technique,
- pointe
- variations (Paquita)
- character (Chinese folk)
- choreography, and
- jazz dance (with Gail Black)
In addition, there will be an in-studio performance on the last day.
The intensive is designed for intermediate to advanced ballet dancers. Tuition is $290 if paid before June 15th, and $300 if paid after. To reserve a spot, a $50 non-refundable deposit is due on April 15. Please click on the Jimmy Hao page above for his full biography.

NCD is forming a new performing group. Get in on the ground floor. The group will perform the Sleeping Beauty ballet, Paquita, and other ballets througout the year. Email the studio for more information. Intermediate and advanced dancers only.
The current Spring dance term will end June 30th.
The recital will be held June 30th at Liberty High School. Ballet students will perform the ballet Sleeping Beauty.
The studio is accepting intermediate or advanced dancers who would like to perform in Sleeping Beauty, several international folk festivals, and Nutcracker over the next year. Please let us know via email or the front desk.
The Summer term will be from July 9th through August 18th and will maintain the current regular class schedule.
Spring recital contracts are available at the studio desk. Please fill one out and submit it by March 1st.
